Last updated: 4 October 2026

BattleBrain is a fun comparison game designed for children and families and published by Arj Global Ltd, a UK software development company.

We have designed BattleBrain around a simple privacy principle:

No accounts. No names. No personal profiles. No advertising profiles. Just play. 🧠⚡

This Privacy Policy explains how BattleBrain handles information when you use the game or visit battlebrainbox.com.

1. Who We Are

BattleBrain is developed and published by:

Arj Global Ltd
United Kingdom

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “BattleBrain”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Arj Global Ltd in connection with BattleBrain.

For privacy questions, technical issues or concerns relating to BattleBrain, please contact:

developers@arjglobal.co.uk

2. Our Approach to Children's Privacy

BattleBrain was designed with children in mind.

We deliberately designed the game so that a child does not need to create an account or tell us who they are in order to play.

BattleBrain does not ask players to provide:

  • Their name or username
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Home address
  • School name
  • Date of birth
  • Profile photograph
  • Personal photographs or videos
  • Social-media account
  • Public player profile
  • Precise location
  • Other unnecessary personal information

There is no requirement for a child to register or create a BattleBrain account simply to play the game.

3. No Player Accounts

BattleBrain does not currently require player accounts.

There is:

  • No player registration
  • No child profile
  • No public player profile
  • No requirement to provide a name
  • No public leaderboard containing children's identities

The game is intended to allow children to start playing without providing us with their personal details.

4. Scores and Game Settings

BattleBrain may save limited game information locally on the player's device or browser.

This can include:

  • Your Best score
  • Current or recent game progress
  • Sound preferences
  • Voice narration preferences
  • Accessibility preferences
  • Game preferences
  • Other settings necessary for the game to function

This information may be stored using browser local storage, application storage or similar technology.

For example, BattleBrain may remember that the player's best streak is 10 so that they can try to beat that score later.

These locally stored settings are not intended to identify the player and are not used to create a BattleBrain user account or public profile.

If the browser or application data is cleared, or the application is removed, locally stored scores and preferences may be lost.

5. Artificial Intelligence

BattleBrain uses artificial intelligence to help check or validate certain facts, comparisons and answers used within the game.

Our AI functionality uses Anthropic's Claude API/platform.

BattleBrain is designed so that AI requests do not require the player's name, email address, telephone number, school or other information identifying the child.

We do not intentionally send children's names or contact details to the AI service.

Information necessary to perform an AI-powered request may nevertheless be transmitted to Anthropic when the relevant feature is used.

According to Anthropic's published policies for its commercial/API services, API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. Anthropic's own data-retention policies apply to information processed through its service.

AI can make mistakes.

Animal abilities, speeds, strengths, weights and vehicle specifications can also differ depending on the individual animal, vehicle model, variant, source and method of measurement.

BattleBrain is therefore provided for fun, curiosity and general discovery and should not be considered an authoritative scientific, educational or professional reference.

6. Technical Information

Although BattleBrain does not ask children to provide their identity or personal details, BattleBrain is an internet-connected service.

Like most websites and applications, the technical infrastructure required to deliver the service may automatically process limited technical information necessary to establish connections, deliver content, maintain security or diagnose technical problems.

This may include information such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser or device information
  • Request timestamps
  • Basic server or security logs

This technical processing is different from asking a child to create an account or provide their name or contact information.

We do not intend to use this information to create profiles about children.

7. Offline and Online Use

Some BattleBrain functionality may work locally where the necessary content has already been loaded or stored on the device.

However, BattleBrain is not completely offline.

Features requiring an online service, including certain AI-powered functionality, require an internet connection.

An internet connection may also be required to initially load the game, retrieve content or receive updates.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

BattleBrain may use essential local storage or similar technologies necessary to operate the game and remember preferences.

For example, this may be used to remember:

  • Best score
  • Sound settings
  • Narration settings
  • Accessibility preferences
  • Game preferences

We do not use this local game information to create public player profiles.

If BattleBrain introduces additional cookies, analytics or tracking technologies in the future, this Privacy Policy will be reviewed and updated as appropriate.

9. Advertising

BattleBrain does not currently use children's personal information to create advertising profiles.

BattleBrain does not currently provide behavioural advertising targeted at children.

If advertising or advertising technology is introduced in the future, we will review the privacy implications and update this Privacy Policy and any necessary privacy controls before introducing it.

10. Analytics and Tracking

BattleBrain is designed to minimise unnecessary collection of information about its players.

We do not intentionally collect children's names, contact details or personal profiles for analytics purposes.

We also do not intend to use unnecessary behavioural tracking to profile children.

Technical hosting, security or infrastructure services may still process limited technical information necessary to operate and protect the service.

11. Third-Party Services

BattleBrain may use third-party technology providers where necessary to provide particular functionality.

This currently includes:

Anthropic
Used to provide AI-powered processing and validation for certain game information.

BattleBrain may also rely on hosting and infrastructure providers to make the game available over the internet.

We aim to minimise the information provided to third-party services and do not intentionally provide children's names, contact information or player profiles to these providers.

Third-party providers operate under their own privacy, security and data-retention practices.

12. Photographs and Third-Party Content

BattleBrain may use photographs or other media supplied by third-party sources.

Some wildlife photographs used within BattleBrain are made available under Creative Commons or similar licences.

Where attribution is required, BattleBrain maintains a separate Photo Credits section containing the relevant photographer, source and licensing information.

Copyright in third-party photographs remains with the applicable photographer or rights holder.

13. No Sale of Children's Personal Information

BattleBrain does not sell children's personal information.

We do not operate BattleBrain for the purpose of building or selling databases of children's identities or profiles.

14. No Precise Location Tracking

BattleBrain does not require a child to provide their precise location in order to play the game.

We do not intentionally use BattleBrain to track a child's movements or build a location history.

Technical network information such as an IP address may still be processed by internet infrastructure as described in this Privacy Policy.

15. Data Retention

Scores and preferences stored locally may remain on the player's device until:

  • They are updated or overwritten;
  • The player resets them;
  • Browser/application storage is cleared;
  • The application is removed; or
  • The device or browser otherwise removes the information.

Information processed by third-party infrastructure or AI providers may be subject to those providers' applicable retention policies and technical requirements.

Because BattleBrain does not require player accounts, we may not be able to associate locally stored information with a particular individual or recover a player's locally stored score if it is deleted.

16. Security

We take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of BattleBrain to protect the systems used to provide the service.

An important part of our approach is data minimisation: if BattleBrain does not need to know a child's name or personal details for them to play, we do not ask for them.

However, no internet-connected website, application or service can guarantee absolute security.

17. Parents and Guardians

BattleBrain is intended to provide a fun experience for children and families.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise younger children's use of internet-connected applications where appropriate.

If you are a parent or guardian and have a privacy concern about BattleBrain, please contact:

developers@arjglobal.co.uk

We will review the concern and respond as appropriate.

18. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information, including rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing.

BattleBrain deliberately avoids requiring identifiable player accounts. As a result, in some circumstances we may not possess enough information to identify a particular player or locate information stored only on their device.

For questions or requests concerning privacy, please contact:

developers@arjglobal.co.uk

19. Free to Play and Future Pricing

BattleBrain is currently available to play for free.

BattleBrain began as a fun father-and-son project rather than as a commercial subscription service.

Running the platform can nevertheless involve costs including hosting, infrastructure, AI services, development and platform fees.

If BattleBrain grows significantly, we may introduce optional paid features, subscriptions or another pricing model in the future to help cover the costs of operating and improving the service.

Any future charges will be clearly communicated before a user is charged.

Playing BattleBrain for free today does not create an obligation to pay for the service in the future.

If payment functionality is introduced, this Privacy Policy will be reviewed and updated where necessary.

20. Changes to BattleBrain

BattleBrain will continue to evolve.

We may introduce new game modes, features or technologies over time.

If a new feature materially changes how information is collected, processed or shared, we will review this Privacy Policy and our privacy controls before or when the feature is introduced, as appropriate.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to:

  • BattleBrain's functionality;
  • Our technology;
  • Third-party providers;
  • Privacy requirements; or
  • How the service operates.

The latest version will be available through battlebrainbox.com and will display its most recent update date.
